Funding Usage
We are planning on large scale expansions this coming year to include a stand alone cafe space in our neighboring town, as well as completion of the retail/tasting bar located at our roasting facility. The retail/tasting bar will require $25,000-$35,000 in equipment, permitting, utilities and labor to complete. The stand alone cafe space will require a small security deposit of $5000, staffing, and a gross percentage of monthly sales to the building owner/management. The cafe at this location will be built to suite and funded by the building owner. All remaining funds will be used for working capital, staffing payroll, and inventory purchases for the roastery.

Business Plan
Eminent Coffee Roasters plan on expanding into 2-3 seperate cafe spaces within the next 5 years. Our roasting facility with tasting bar, stand alone cafe in St. Joe, MN, and a possible 3rd cafe location in the area. We will continue to offer our espresso carts for private/corporate events, weddings, and other coffee catering needs, as well as serving the local farmers markets through the summer months. We also have plans to complete a mobile coffee trailer that will replace one of the carts for faster and more efficient outdoor service. Wholesale roasting and partnerships are expected to increase greatly as new independent and craft coffee bars are popping up in the surrounding areas. Eminent Coffee Roasters is owned and operated by a Marine Corps Combat Veteran, that is utilizing his skills in coffee to connect differing cultures around the world. The people who grow and process these coffees are no different from you or I when you get to know and understand them, even through language barriers. Eminent strives to connect and strengthen their local communities through exceptional coffee and great conversations that are curated through a cup of coffee. We tell the entire story of bean to cup, highlighting the hard working individuals that bring us these beautiful coffees from around the world, hopefully putting a face and personal connection to the product.

Self Identified Competition
Large corporate coffee chains that offer fast service, at a disservice to product quality. Corporate Grocers that offer coffee at a much lower price point, with no product transparency. Small local roasters that source commodity grade coffees that can be sold at a lower price point, but not ensure quality or sustainable harvest practices. Eminent only sources sustainable, ethical, and specialty grade coffees. We tell the farmer, producer, mill worker, and importers stories to create a cultural connection through every sip. Each batch is roasted with intent, precision, and full attention to ensure consistent flavor and quality. All packaging is done by hand in our roasting facility. We care about our customers health and well being, and reflect that in our sourcing of coffee, and ingredients used within our drinks.
