  • Business Plan

The Taylor 829 Foundation, Inc. has partnered with the National Urban League and its affiliate locations since the National Urban League has been on the ground working in low-income disadvantaged communities for over 50 years. The NUL's guidance and assistance will allow the Foundation to connect with Educators in Grammar Schools, Jr. High, and High Schools students in disadvantaged communities to build a pipeline of qualified students whose aspiration is to become medical doctors by providing them with tutoring, mentoring, coaching, and mental health assistance so that they can remain focused on their educational goals of becoming doctors. The students that the Foundation successfully nurtures their educational growth in securing their doctorate to be a medical doctor will put the spotlight on The Taylor 829 Foundation, Inc., as one of the premier non-profit organizations that low-income disadvantaged students who aspire to become medical doctors turn to. The student's success will be the Foundation's success. The country as a whole has a shortage of Medical Doctors, due to the thousands of highly skilled trained professionals that we as a country lost during COVID-19. The length of time that it takes to educate and train this next generation of medical doctors every student who aspires to become a Medical Doctors need the country's attention and support especially those living in low-income, disadvantaged communities since the financial burden is one of the leading reason why so many of them do not pursue a career in medicine. A child should be able to see themselves in the medical professional that they are seeking medical services from in hopes that that professional sees them and hears their or their parents concerns. Finally, at the end of each of our lives, we will all need the assistance of a doctor to receive the necessary medical care and/or assistance. The time is now to start funding programs and students so that we get them in the pipeline to prepare and educate the next generation of medical doctors. The need is here and the need is GREAT!

  • Self Identified Competition

Doctors without Borders. The Taylor 829 Foundation, Inc., would like to emulate the success of Doctors without Borders except for the fact that we would like the doctors who receive assistance [Grants and/or Scholarships] from The Taylor 829 Foundation, Inc., to commit to giving back to their communities for at least 3 years before moving on in their practice.
