JumpZone 620162623 | Government Grant Application

JumpZone | Application Preview

JumpZone is applying for government grants to address financial challenges, specifically to pay off a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan taken during the pandemic and increased insurance costs. The owner aims to avoid raising prices further to keep the business accessible.

The business plan includes expanding their offerings with more inflatables and hosting summer events. JumpZone is also committed to collaborating with local groups for charity events and school fundraisers, demonstrating a strong community focus.

Funding approval is crucial for the owner, a dedicated mother of three who actively participates in her children's school as a PTO president and a softball coach. The support would not only help sustain the business during difficult times but also provide opportunities for growth.

JumpZone competes with well-known children's entertainment venues like Chuckie Cheese, Main Event, and Urban Air. However, its competitive edge lies in its family-owned approach, where the owner is hands-on with operations, maintenance, and customer service, differentiating the business from larger, impersonal corporations.

  • Funding Usage

Pay off SBA loan from covid and my insurance carrier who has tripled on me. I am trying not to go up on pricing anymore.

  • Business Plan

We plan on adding more inflatables and party options. Such as events during the summertime. We also love to partner with groups on charity events or raising money for our schools. My business is very important to me. I am a mom of 3, coach softball, PTO president at my children's school and I love to partner with groups on fundraisers. If I can get a little help during hard times, it would keep me afloat and I would have room to grow my business.

  • Self Identified Competition

My competitors are mainly high profiled children's entertainment. Such as Chuckie Cheese, Main Event and Urban Air. I am just a small family ran business. Here at Jump zone, we do it all ourselves. From cleaning to Maintenace. I am not a million-dollar company. I am a owner who is here every day and very involved in the day to day.
