Funding Usage
The funding requested would be used to purchase forestry mastication equipment for fuels reduction in the urban interface. It will also be used for road development for ingress and egress of the rural community in case of wildland fires. With the equipment purchased from this grant we could help protect, educate, and defend multiple communities like ours.

Business Plan
As a Veteran and Firefighter of 30 years, I've been challenging myself to do more for our community and to give back. I see the business expanding in order to improve community development reducing the risk to properties by reducing the fuels, improving defensive space around homes. Building on community education by going door to door and evaluating homes in the urban interface working with home owners that can't afford to pay for fuels reduction. We can expand our companies success at the same time reducing the risk of total devastation to our community by fuels reduction, defensive space, and education. My 30 years in the fire service should show those who want to invest in my business that I have dedicated my life to public service. Not only as a firefighter but also as a USAF Veteran. I have personally seen the devastating effects of wildfires. I'm a very determined, hard working, and the guy everyone calls to get things done. Im a man of my word. If I say it, I'll do it. Our community is in desperate need of fuels reduction and a safe roads for ingress and egress.

Self Identified Competition
I don't believe I have any other competitors for this. We just want to improve our mountain community and make it safe to get up and down the mountain. I'm different from any other competitors because I live here in this community. I am the person everyone calls when there is an emergency not an outside competitor.
