Summary: House addition $75,000 New Highspeed Computers $8,000 Software Subscriptions $1,200 Copiers and fax machines $2,500 Salesperson $60,000 Professional Website $5,000 Details: Since I work from home and want to meet clients in a professional office at home and be able to expand my business by hiring other bookkeepers to work from home, I need to have a designated office space added to my house and this house addition will cost $75,000., which was quoted to me by 2 contractors. Currently I do not have a private space to meet with new clients to really build the business, so instead I have to make arrangements to meet at a coffee shop and hope it's not too noisy. In addition, I need to upgrade my computer systems and networks to streamline the workflows at an expense of $8,000 including tax and accounting annual software subscriptions at the yearly expensive of $1,200. Also, professional office furniture including fax and copier at an expense of $2,500. And finally, to help increase business I would need to immediately hire a salesperson at $60,000 and hire a website developer to create a more professional interactive website to promote and advertise online at a cost of $5000. All of the above will greatly increase my business which will help me to hire single parents who need to work from home at a time that works from them due to childcare and or a disability that prevents them from taking an in-office job.

Business Plan
1st year, build a professional home office where prospective clients and employees can come to when needed and hire a website builder and salesperson to sign on more clients. In addition, this much needed office space would provide free training for displaced workers looking to learn a new skill. 2nd year, hire more employees to keep up the demand of work increased by 50% from having a professional closer salesperson who also travels out of state to increase client services. 3rd year should see another 50% to 75% increase in income from steps repeated in year 2. 4th year hire another traveling salesperson and a telemarketing center to increase client base by 200% 5th year, streamline our advertising and marketing based on previous years results focusing on business accounting services that benefit the business the most. At this point the company should see annual profits of $500,000 at minimum. The structure of the company will not only employee many people who are displaced workers due to the free training that will be provided in this new office space but will also empower and secure lively hoods of single parents and the disabled that need to work from home. They will be empowered because they would decide on how many clients they want to work on thus setting their own hours that fit their day-to-day schedules.

Self Identified Competition
QuickBooks Bookkeeper 360 H&R Block I'm different from these accounting companies since I do not charge the client to use the accounting platforms, I only charge for the work services and as for H&R Block tax services my company is way more reasonable with service charges and depending upon whether the client uses our accounting services as well and how many services they paid for, their tax return is provided at no additional cost. Another way our company is different is how we pay our employees. Usually when you work for these competitors you need to work at a particular time and are paid hourly, so if someone is really good at what they do then they would not need as many hours to complete the client's work compared to a lessor skilled employee. To us this is not fair nor convenient, as such we pay a percentage of the client's fees to the employee. As a result a less skilled person would make maybe $20 an hour in comparison to a more skilled person who works that may make up to $50 an hour. This really empowers the employee and drives them to learn more to become a master at their jobs, which in turn helps are company with more skilled labor. Performance based pay is the way we will grow and keep better skilled employees to meet the demands of our clients.
