  • Funding Usage

The funding I seek will be allocated towards several key areas. Firstly, I plan to invest in upgraded appliances to enhance production efficiency. Additionally, I intend to bolster my inventory to better meet customer demands. A portion of the funding will be allocated towards acquiring a DTF (Direct To Film) printing system, including the necessary ink and maintenance tools. I also aim to purchase a second heat press to scale up production capacity. Lastly, I plan to allocate funds towards securing a down payment or full payment for a brick-and-mortar walk-in shop to better serve my customers.

  • Business Plan

Over the next five years, my vision for business growth entails realizing a long-held dream: opening a brick-and-mortar shop or boutique. Within this space, I aspire to not only showcase my own creations but also provide a platform for other small business owners to sell their handmade items, with a percentage going towards supporting my business. Integral to this plan is reaching out to fellow entrepreneurs to build partnerships and foster a supportive community. Additionally, I recognize the importance of digital presence and will continue to leverage social media for advertising. Concurrently, I aim to maintain and enhance my online presence through my website. Securing a grant would enable me to invest in the necessary equipment to sustain and expand my business, ensuring competitiveness within the market. Investors should consider investing in me because I possess a resilient spirit and an unwavering commitment to realizing my entrepreneurial dreams. Despite facing numerous challenges in life, including being a stay-at-home mother to two toddler boys and having a husband stationed in another state due to military service, I have remained steadfast in my pursuit of business ownership. My personal journey serves as a testament to the belief that with determination and perseverance, it's possible to overcome obstacles and achieve one's aspirations. Moreover, I am deeply motivated by the desire to provide a better life for my family, including my special needs son. By investing in my business, investors can support not only the growth of a promising venture but also contribute to the well-being and stability of my family. Once my business reaches a sustainable level of success, it will enable my husband to transition out of the military and reunite with us in Arkansas, fulfilling a long-awaited dream of being together as a family. I am driven by clear goals, guided by love, faith, and a strong sense of responsibility towards my family. With the right support and resources, I am confident in my ability to turn my aspirations into reality and build a successful business that benefits not only my family but also the community.

  • Self Identified Competition

My top three competitors all have businesses they can work out of. Whether it's a brick & mortar shop, or a large office in a she-shed in their backyard. Three of the top competitors are- Harris & Homespun, B's Tees, & Maxine Boutique. All of these businesses are very similar in what they offer. The top one I believe in my eyes is harris & homespun. The shop the owner operates has literally been a dream of mine. I want to be able to own & successfully operate one similar to that, but different in some ways. What sets me apart from my competitors is my unique blend of creativity, dedication, and personal connection with my customers. As a small business owner, I prioritize providing a personalized experience tailored to each individual's needs and preferences. My commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures that every product I create is of the highest standard. Moreover, I strive to foster a sense of community and inclusivity within my business. By offering a platform for other small business owners to showcase their handmade items in my shop, I not only enrich the variety of products available but also support fellow entrepreneurs in their endeavors. Additionally, my journey as a stay-at-home mother and wife, navigating the challenges of a military family and caring for a special needs child, brings a unique perspective to my business. I understand the importance of resilience, empathy, and determination, qualities that are reflected in every aspect of my work. Ultimately, it is this combination of creativity, personalized service, community engagement, and empathy that sets me apart and makes me a standout choice for customers seeking a meaningful and enriching shopping experience.
