Convenient occupational health | Application Preview
Convenient Occupational Health is seeking government grants to establish a dedicated office space for employees. Currently, the business operates on a mobile basis, meeting employees in public locations, which limits potential growth. The owner believes that having an office would attract more clients, as employers appreciate the mobile service but recognize the added convenience of a fixed location.
The business plan outlines a five-year vision to expand and hire at least one employee while maintaining client accessibility through the new office. Given that Department of Transportation (DOT) employees are required to undergo testing, the potential for business is strong, especially since overhead costs are low if managed properly.
The competition includes companies like J.J. Keller, Quest, and Fleetscreen. However, the business differentiates itself by providing personalized service, building strong relationships with clients, and offering flexibility in work hours for drug testing, unlike larger companies that subcontract the service out. This personal touch is seen as a key competitive advantage that would help drive growth.

Funding Usage
I would like to set up and office for employees to also come to me because right now I am mobile so I have to meet employees in a public location. Employers love the idea of mobile but I could get more business if employees could come to an office.

Business Plan
In the next 5 years I would like to expand my business an atleast have 1 employee. Also have an office for the clients to come. I believe with an office I could get more clients. All dot employees have to be tested and there is not alot of overhead in this business. If it is properly run right it is a good business.

Jj Keller Quest Fleetscreen I am not a big company so I develop relationships with my companies and I work the hours they need me at their locations for drug testing. Other companies take the calls but send other companies to do the services.
