B Blue Events 82-4286530 | Government Grant Application

B Blue Events | Application Preview

B Blue Events is seeking government grants to fund the upcoming Blue Party Atlanta, an annual event aimed at showcasing the organizer's vision while providing an enjoyable experience for guests. The event includes a Cocktail Hour, Buffet Dinner, and Open Bar, with ticket prices set at $150. However, the organizer notes that many guests may not understand the associated costs, such as the $13,000 venue fee and pending payments for catering and entertainment.

The business plan outlines plans for future expansion to other cities, including Akron, Charlotte, and Detroit. With a solid history of successful parties in Akron and a clear aim to cater to an older audience, the organizer hopes to elevate the event’s atmosphere and ambiance this year.

Despite a passion for event coordination and a strong track record—growing attendance from 150 to over 700 guests in past events—B Blue Events has not turned a profit. The organizer has relied on personal savings to cover costs due to inadequate ticket pricing. By securing funding, the goal is to enhance the overall experience, ultimately leading to profitability.

The applicant emphasizes a unique concept that includes a blue attire theme inspired by their September birth month, setting this event apart from others. While there are multiple event entrepreneurs in Atlanta, the organizer sees collaboration as an opportunity rather than competition. The vision includes not only successful events in Atlanta but also a desire to own a venue and hire professionals for future endeavors.

  • Funding Usage

I would like to fund for this year's Blue Party Atlanta to show the guests my vision, sometimes guests need to see your vision to understand how much money goes into an amazing event, most will say $150 is too much, it includes Cocktail Hour with Hor'Doueves, Buffet Dinner, Open Bar, of course guests won't know how much the event venue alone which is $13k, I paid $2k deposit, contract is signed. I don't have the deposit for the cater and entertainment company as of yet they are holding my quote until I can pay. In the past I sold tickets for $35-$75 not enough to cover all expenses so there goes my savings to make up the difference. It's time to finally see a profit and hoping you can help me with my vision and dream, thank you!

  • Business Plan

Blue Party Atlanta by Bonnie will be an annual event, displaying my vision to my guests will allow them to look forward to an amazing event once a year, I plan to travel to other cities to expand my party, I created Blue Party Akron (my hometown) it was annual for 6 years, I reside in Atlanta and I know they are ready, I'm looking to expand to Blue Party Charlotte, Blue Party Detroit, etc. Blue Party Atlanta can get me there, there's a need for the older generation to get dressed and enjoy Blue Ambiance Experience I'm 58 years my 1st party was at 5 years all my friends in the neighborhood came to my party I can still remember, I knew at that age my passion would be bringing people together to have fun. I have a great following for Blue Party Akron: 2016 - 150 guests @ $20 2017 - 400 guests @$35 2018 - 700 guests @$35 2019 - 500 guests @$35 2019 - 250 guests in Atlanta @$35 2022 - 250 guests @$75 Never made a profit, guests complained about the price every year so I used my savings to cover costs, not a good business move. It's been 2 years now I'm leveling up with the atmosphere, ambiance, dress code, etc. I'm an awesome event coordinator who loves people, bubbly personality, just never had upfront money to show what I can really do, I created my own website, do my own promoting, my ultimate goal is to own my venue spot and hire professionals for my website, etc. Currently I'm a one person team doing it all.

  • Self Identified Competition

I wouldn't say I have competitors but there are many entrepreneurs having successful events in Atlanta, I want to join in the fun and make people smile I created a theme including blue attire. My birth month is September which is Sapphire Blue that's the meaning behind my party it will always be in September 🩵 I have videos on YouTube for Blue Party Akron, to travel from city to city would be an awesome experience, the venue space will have to be beautiful and elegant.
