Funding Usage
We have struggled recovering since the pandemic and the owner has had triple bypass surgery in the last year. The business has incurred added debt due to these circumstances. The money will be used to pay down this debt and to help expand the training area of the business. We would like move to a different facility in order to facilitate the coming changes. The funding will be used to keep the business going for the next five years and beyond hopefully.

Business Plan
We need a different facility to grow and develop the training program. We want to be able to offer online training courses and private session training via Zoom or Facetime. We would also need a new website. We would like to hire a groomer or two to expand the grooming portion to all day grooming (we currently only offering morning appointments) and offer weekend grooming. Daycare expansion would require more fencing. more square footage, and more employees. We have been in business for over 18 years and training for over 30 years. We have worked very hard over these years building a business and reputation that we are extremely proud of. We are well known in our community and would like to continue offering our services to them while being able to give them more options.

Self Identified Competition
Forest City Dog Training Meyers Kennel Dogwood Pet Resort Forest City Dog Training only has dog training, but they offer AKC competition training. Our training is behavioral modification training as well as everyday manners and behaving in the home and when you take the dog places. We are often referred by Veterinarians and others for dogs needing behavioral modification. Forest City has also sent aggressive dogs to us. Meyers and Dogwood both offer daycare, and Meyers also has grooming. They have bigger facilities and can accommodate more dogs.
