Funding Usage
I would like to upgrade the floors in the salon as well as, paint the salon to refresh it. The reception area could use a refresh with a new carpet, tables and pillows. I also feel that the staff that has been loyal to Salon Fringe should be given monetary bonus for their dedication since we opened in 2012. It is good for the moral. I would like to implement a loyalty program for retail with a "Fringe Benefits" retail card. Id like to possibly bring in a new retail line.125

Business Plan
I would like to hire 1-3 new hairdressers.(part and full time). I also would like to attract new clients with a new marketing campaign promoting our salon. I also will implement a loyalty program for our retail center. I will use social media word of mouth to promote. I feel as though they should fund me because of my long-term experience in the beauty industry. From the time was a 13 year old girl, I wanted to be a hairdresser. I have been a successful hairdresser on the South Shore for over 34 years. I have streamlined all ordering so as to not over order and run my business efficiently. Because the operating costs have greatly increased in the last few years, there is not much leftover to give staff a monetary bonus or do any updating to the salon.

Self Identified Competition
My top 3 competitors are Bahige Antoine Salon, Salon Taj, and Wildflower Studio What makes us different from our competitors is that I have been in the industry much longer than those owners ( as owners and hairdresser). Many hairdressers/owners do not make it for the long term. I consider myself a marathoner not a sprinter. My long term plan is to be working for at least 12 more years. I am also an S-Corp. while the others are an LLC.
