Elevation Chiropractic and Wellness - SLC | Application Preview
Elevation Chiropractic and Wellness in Salt Lake City is seeking government grants to support its operational expenses and employee wages as it establishes itself in the market. Having opened in April, the funding will help the business remain viable until it becomes profitable. The funds will also be used to purchase essential equipment and expand the staff to offer a wider range of services.
Their business plan includes hiring additional staff, aiming to create 8 to 12 new jobs in the community. Proposed hires include receptionists, massage therapists, acupuncturists, physical therapists, a nurse practitioner, and chiropractors. Elevation Chiropractic is actively marketing to local businesses, especially those with insurance, to attract clients.
The application emphasizes the unique aspects of their business model, particularly their decision as an out-of-network provider to waive patient deductibles and copays. This approach allows patients to access necessary healthcare services without out-of-pocket expenses, distinguishing them from competitors. Despite facing competition from clinics like The Joint Chiropractic, which heavily markets itself, Elevation Chiropractic believes its commitment to quality care and access for patients sets it apart. The grant is seen as a crucial step in helping the business thrive and meet community healthcare needs.
