Funding Usage
This money would go towards equipment to get the company started. Some of the equipment the money would purchase is an Excavator with attachments , Skid Steer with attachments, Trailer for moving the equipment and other miscellaneous tools for completing dirt work and landscaping task. At this time through the research we’ve done we would purchase a CAT 305 Excavator with a few bucket attachments, and a CAT 259D Skid steer with a bucket attachment and Harley Rake attachment. We think these few pieces of heavy machinery are crucial for completing most of the task home owners are hiring us to do. Also with this money it would assist us in keeping our operating cost to a minimum. We wouldn’t have to charge customers so much money for the machine to be there doing the work, we would be allowed to keep the machine cost low and just charge for the operator. With us being able to do that we would be able to be a lot more competitive against other companies and assist homeowners in being a lot more budget friendly.

Business Plan
I plan on investing as much as I can back into the company to make the company bigger. I would like to see the company be able to create more opportunities for other people like a place of employment. The bigger the company we can make the more opportunities we can create for other people and that would be my goal. I would also like the advertise all the projects we have finished and get it out to the public because the best advertising you could have is word of mouth and the more jobs we can complete the more advertising we’re going to have. Investors should invest in me because I’m going to invest it back into my community. This money isn’t only going to help me create my business but it’s going to allow me to have low operating cost so I don’t have to charge as much to my customers. These communities need a company that is budget friendly but can also make some money doing it. If the company was to go out and buy used or new equipment we would have to charge an extraordinary amount of money just so we could make payments on the machines and pay the help and if we do that then we can’t offer a budget friendly operation nor could we be competitive with other companies that have been established.

Self Identified Competition
MME Construction: A newer company in last 10 years that has grown to be about 8-10 guys. They offer residential work but have been working more towards the commercial side of things. Pat Rawson: A locally owned excavation company that has been around for 38+ years. They were well known for their residential work around town but have also started to go commercial. Lessers 4 Season Services: A locally owned landscaping company that is new within the last 10 years. A very detailed oriented crew that is now know for high quality hardscape work. What makes Howard Construction different is we want to work for the residents. We don’t want our company to be based off of doing commercial work and doing residential work on the side. We want to be able to offer a high quality operation to the people in this area and be able to be their go to construction company.
