Funding Usage
We would like to build a metal building for our boutique, and a small recycling facility, on 1 of the five acres we own. We would also like to purchase a baler, and glass crusher, in order to recycle more glass, and cardboard in Lubbock instead of hiring a trucking company to deliver our recycling to FCC Environmental, this cost $1500 per trip to Dallas (every 1-3 months).

Business Plan
My husband I hope to build our steel structure and have a boutique and recycling facility on our land, close to our home. Since Lubbock currently does not have a recycling facility and there is not a facility anywhere near Lubbock, we feel we could make a huge difference. My husband and I love working, and especially working together. We love helping others and the planet. We have a special business that takes things that would typically be thrown out and make fabulous and functional home decor and art.

Self Identified Competition
Good Earth, Turquoise Boutique, Loolah’s Boutique Since most of our boutique items are handmade with recycled materials, (recycled oil drums, metal, wood, etc…), we are able to make a greater impact taking things that would not be recycled, or go to a landfill and be made into something new.
