The Sourdough Connection | Application Preview
The Sourdough Connection is seeking government grants to enhance its operations by acquiring a new oven and installing tile flooring to expand its kitchen space. The goal is to increase bread production and improve the quality of offerings.
As part of a five-year plan, the business aims to establish a mobile sales van to distribute sourdough bread in local food deserts, thereby addressing food accessibility issues in the Evansville community.
Funding this initiative is critical, as it focuses on providing nutritious food options in areas with limited access to healthy food. While there are competitors like Great Harvest Bread, Lewis Bakery, and Panera Bread, none specialize in sourdough, giving The Sourdough Connection a unique advantage in the local market.

Business Plan
Within 5 years. I'd like to be able to set up a mobile sales van to take bread into food deserts and better feed my community with sourdough bread. Because feeding the community is important and in Evansville, in we have several food deserts where it's difficult to get food easily.

Self Identified Competition
There is Great Harvest Bread company, Lewis Bakery and Panera bread but none of them produce sourdough. I'm the only local bread business to produce sourdough bread.
