Business Plan
During our initial phase of growth (1-2 years), we will be focused on these core services and products: 1. The primary attraction will be roller skating offered to the public, along with roller hockey teams, and roller derby. 2. Skate rental 3. Secondary attractions will be coin based arcade games including: pinball machines, air hockey, skeeball, pacman, racing games, and others. 4. Facility rental will be another service offered to customers, which will include: birthday party rental, event rental, other sports or recreation rental, weddings, concerts, and fundraisers. 5. Always available will be food and drinks at our snack bar. 6. Punk Rockies merchandise sales 7. Advertisement opportunities for local businesses (banners, online/website) During this time we will establish a strong community brand and will start to attract visitors from surrounding areas like Colorado Springs. Punk Rockies will become a destination for many travelers. During the next few years we will establish relationships with organizations, schools and non profits to provide both outdoor and indoor rental space. The land we wish to purchase is approx. 11 acres, offering more business opportunity than just the 22,000 sq ft facility. We also have the vision of selling portions of the land to other business owners in the area to start up their adventures. We plan to increase the number of events that we host both inside and outside the facility. We plan to offer an after school program for elementary and middle school students. The funds requested will be instrumental in bringing this vision to life, providing a much-needed recreational facility for Woodland Park and Teller County. By focusing on community engagement, local sourcing, and job creation, the roller rink and arcade will not only offer fun and entertainment but also contribute positively to the local economy and social fabric. Teller County Colorado offers an outdoor skateboard park, outdoor ice skating at Meadow Wood Sports Complex, but does not offer an indoor roller skating rink or entertainment centers with arcades. There are no facilities located in Woodland Park, Co that focus on the youth of our community and families in an indoor environment all year round. If a parent is looking for a place to host an indoor birthday party, the options are located approx. 50-60 mins. away.
