Business Plan
For the firewood part of th buisness, I would like to expand sales within Massachusetts, campgrounds, hardware stores, small convience stores etc, a commerical wood splitter would help with the processing time needed to expand. I would also like to develope a tree service company, to remove branches off of power lines, trees on private properties etc, storm response for the state if needed. I am a highly motivated individual who is focusing on what is important in life, doing something I enjoy would be one of those things, I love the tree and wood industry and would like to be able to leave my current employment and work for myself. I have a vast manufactuing background (22 yrs in the manufactuing industry) , I have 15 years of management experience and 10 years of sales experience. Since starting the firewood buisness which has been a second job and done at night, I have managed to aquire $4,000 in sales to date since Jan 24, I have picked up a steady piece of buisness delivering cord wood every other week to a local pizza factory, I have secured shelf space and received 4 orders since April 24 in a local ACE hardware store with our hardwood bags.
