Funding Usage
I would like to expand my business to have an office and a conference room for meetings with my clients. I also need to update my website and purchase new equipment such as printer, laptop, etc. I would be using a shared office as well. I have never gotten any grants or loans, so I would like to try the office space before purchasing real estate.

I do. As stated previously, I would like to expand a little at a time. Human Resources is one of the most important departments to ensure that the employees aren’t just taken care of, but staying up to date on employment laws, safety laws, along with maintaining documentation is imperative for a business. Out of the many different businesses, an I9 which is employment verification is so crucial to keep within the laws. No one ever fills out the documentation correctly. They are also looked over to maintain that the documents are stored correctly. USCIS/ICE can come in to investigate. On average, the typical amount of fines and penalties paid out from the business is $250,000. I was asked from Toastmasters to be a keynote speaker at the International Annual Conference a few years ago. They reached out to me by referral. I have done many keynote presentations, but this was the one that is a testament to my knowledge and experience.

Self Identified Competition
There aren’t many HR Consultants where I live. There is 1 who I worked with. EBS Consulting. As I have said previously, I am invited to many speaking engagements. EBS Consulting does not. These are opportunities to engage with big names companies such as Unum, Blue Cross Blue Shiel, Volkswagen, McKee foods and more. It is a way to not only network, but to showcase to these companies that I walk the walk. They get a behind the scenes interaction with me. They can see my engagement as well as willingness to educate companies on very important information. I am also a WOSB.
