To keep the doors open to offer quality childcare for our families in Buncombe county and surrounding areas.

Business Plan
I would use the grant to get my childcare business licensed. I would use it to retain employees and compensate them with a living wage. If I was licensed I would be able to accept vouchers to families so that more people could use our services. Kids Garden is a wonderful childcare business model that fills a gap in childcare needs. The other Kids Garden centers in other states do well and are licensed. I am unable to get licensed due to the lack of resources from funding needs.

Self Identified Competition
There isn’t any other drop in facilities within 59 miles of Kids Garden Asheville. Other competitors would be local preschools but we offer so much more. We fill the gap in childcare needs offering flexibility to our families. We hear all the time how grateful families are to have this type of support in the community. They are able to drop off whenever need.
