Studio C Salon | Application Preview
Studio C Salon is applying for government grants to support its establishment and growth. The funding will be used for building costs, product supplies, taxes, and necessary licensing. Over the last six months, costs for building and products have significantly risen, alongside expenses for licensing and inspections required for the salon. There is also a need to update the HVAC system and windows.
The salon aims to collaborate with other industry professionals to diversify its service offerings and introduce new products. With a decade of experience, the owner, a woman entrepreneur, is committed to the business long-term and seeks to contribute positively to the local economy by supporting other small businesses and participating in community events.
Despite competition from salon suites like Sola and My Salon Suites, which face challenges in employee retention, Studio C Salon differentiates itself through a strong focus on individual and family needs, offering fair pricing. The owner is dedicated to fostering a thriving local community and raising awareness about the importance of supporting local businesses over larger chains.

Business Plan
I would like to collaborate with other professionals in my industry to offer additional services. I would like to expand my menu of services by offering new services and products. I am an independent, woman owned business with 10 years of service. I am planning on staying in business until I retire. I am in a small community and can help put money back into my community by referring my clients to other local businesses. I can collaborate more with local small businesses and advertise them through the Camp Hill Borough. I can participate in school events such as mini-thons cutting hair and become a local sponsor on sports teams. I plan on continuing to spread the work around our local community about how I maintained my business and adapted.

Self Identified Competition
Salon suites such as Sola and My Salon Suites. They make it hard to retain employees therefore changing our salon format I am very individual and family focused. I believe in helping my clients while maintaining fair prices. I am a supporter of small business and women. I want my family and community to thrive. I want my child to feel safe and be able to visit local businesses to see the importance of supporting our community not just big retailers and chain salons.
