J.B. Healthcare 1971288 | Government Grant Application

J.B. Healthcare | Application Preview

J.B. Healthcare is applying for government grants to address overdue expenses, expand the business, purchase vaccine inventory, and pay off high-interest loans. The business plan includes moving to a larger office and opening a second location with an additional provider.

Over the past five years, J.B. Healthcare has grown from zero to approximately 3,000 patients, despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which hampered initial growth and forced the owner to take out loans for operating costs. High employee turnover, exacerbated by competitive unemployment benefits and rising minimum wages, has increased payroll expenses and overall overhead. The frequent staff changes have led to service disruptions, impacting patient care and employee well-being.

In terms of competition, J.B. Healthcare is positioning itself against Desert Valley Pediatrics, West Valley Pediatrics, and MVP Pediatrics. The business highlights its competitive edge as a compassionate provider dedicated to offering quality care to underserved pediatric populations. The goal is to support children's physical, psychosocial, and emotional development, helping them grow into confident young adults. Positive patient reviews underscore this commitment to care.

  • Business Plan

i plan to grow my business by expanding a bigger office space and a second location with a second provider I started my business with no patient volume and grew my business to approx. 3000 patient vollume over last 5 years. Due to COVID pandemic occured right after opening the business affected the initial growth for which I had to take loan to keep the overhead running. Those loan payments added to overall overhead cost. Then high turn over of new employees as experienced by many businesses as people were paid more on unemployment and the increase in minimal wages going up affected my payroll expenses to increase which lead to increase overhead expenses. Everytime an employee quit, I had to cancel or slow my work to accomodate pateint and avoid employee burn out.
