M&M's Custom Creations, LLC | Application Preview
M&M's Custom Creations, LLC, owned by Megan, is seeking government grants to enhance their business operations. The funds will be used to acquire an embroidery machine and a shed, enabling a transition of the business from home to a dedicated workspace. This change will facilitate expansion and improve service offerings to customers.
The business plan includes a targeted growth strategy guided by thorough market research. Megan aims to generate sufficient revenue to hire at least one employee and transform her small venture into her main source of income, allowing her to leave her full-time job.
M&M's Custom Creations stands out in the custom apparel market by providing quick, tailored services to local organizations, including fire departments, offering them affordable solutions for uniform needs. Unlike competitors who use less advanced printing methods, the business employs Direct To Garment (DTG) and Direct To Film (DTF) printing technology, allowing for versatile design options on various materials.
The competition includes businesses such as Chesapeake Custom Embroidery and JNJ Custom Stitches, but M&M's competitive advantage lies in its customer-centric approach. Megan emphasizes rapid responses and a collaborative design process, ensuring client satisfaction and minimizing errors, setting her business apart from others in Southern Maryland.

Funding Usage
I would purchase an embroidery machine to advance my business and pay off other business debt. Additionally, I would use funding to purchase a shed to relocate my business from inside my home living quarters to outside in its designated spot. This will allow me to expand my business capabilities much further and provide my customers with everything they are requesting.

Business Plan
I intend to implement a growth strategy template, choose a targeted area of growth while conducting market and industry research. I plan to make enough revenue to hire at least 1 employee and have the ability to quit my full time job making my small business my main source of income. My name is Megan and I am the owner at M&M's Custom Creations, LLC where we are curating fresh new designs in addition to making our customers visions come to reality on apparel, apparel accessories, cups and more. We help our local small businesses in addition to our local Fire Department volunteer departments and paid Fire Departments to solve their required uniform needs at a more affordable cost that offers quick turnaround times to accomplish our local Fire Departments rapid needs. Unlike many other small businesses and stay at home moms who print decals from their cricut devices, we print directly to the garment with our innovative Direct To Garment (DTG) printer that also provides an additional feature to print Direct To Film (DTF) which allows us to print and design on any type of material. As the custom apparel industry continues to grow tremendously this is a great time to assist in small business investments that are eager to take on challenges and push for growth. We currently make money through our website and advertisements through all social media platforms. We have already achieved great success by implementing "how it's done" videos through TikTok, constant Facebook marketing which has lead to other small businesses order their company apparel. We currently need a shed to locate the business outside our living quarters, an embroidery machine to further broaden the customer demand and to enable the business to thrive to higher customer demands.

We take the time to hear what the customer wants and work one on one with the customer to ensure they are satisfied with their design prior to final printing while other companies print and have returns and errors constantly.
