T Shirts and More 88-1060728 | Government Grant Application

T Shirts and More | Application Preview

T Shirts and More is seeking government grants to enhance their business operations. The funding will be used to purchase an additional DTF (direct-to-film) machine, a double heat press, and a DTF shaker oven. These acquisitions are essential for keeping up with growing demand, as the business currently operates 9 hours a day and is looking to expand production. Additionally, the funds will help in stocking the store and acquiring new merchandise.

The business plan emphasizes the need for a second machine to increase capacity and fulfill larger contracts for custom company shirts and special occasion apparel. Since its inception in 2022, T Shirts and More has operated without external financial assistance, showcasing their dedication as a women-owned enterprise focused on community service and exceptional customer support. The owners believe that financial assistance at this crucial stage will significantly accelerate their growth, especially given their expanding customer base driven by social media and word-of-mouth.

In terms of competition, T Shirts and More faces local businesses like Girl Friday and Dogwood Designs, which do not produce their own DTF prints and rely on outsourcing. This gives T Shirts and More a competitive advantage in terms of quicker turnaround times and more competitive pricing. Their unique in-store designs and commitment to quality further differentiate them from competitors, who often cut corners. The business prides itself on not only delivering high-quality products but also on being a role model for the community and instilling a strong work ethic in their children.

  • Business Plan

By getting a second machine to keep up with the demand on DTF printing. We are currently printing 9 hours a day and a second machine will help us expand. Also obtaining more large shirt contracts because we also create company shirts and shirts for every occasion. We started this business from the ground up in 2022 without the assistance of grants or loans. We are a women owned business that dedicate ourselves for the good works of the community with amazing customer service. We are at the point financial assistance can help our business really take off and it would allow us to get the essentials we need to continue towards growth. We are expanding customer wise every few days. Social media and word of mouth has gotten us this far I can only imagine what could happen if we invested just a small amount in billboards radio and other sources of advertising. We are one of the only companies in Jonesboro that do what we do and people from hours away travel to visit our store. We are raising kids who look up to us as a example as we are teaching them amazing work ethic and finding their place in the community

  • Self Identified Competition

Girl Friday and a place in Paragould called dogwood designs. They do things similar to us except they do not make their own DTF prints. They have to outsource. So we beat them in turn around time with printing as well as pricing. We are different than our competitors because of how fast we get products done. The prices of our products and our customers service. We also offer unique designs we do here in the store unlike anything they can do. Our quality is top notch as they take short cuts in a lot of the products they have. Also girl Friday does not make the tshirts like us. They just sale the supplies for them.
