Funding Usage
I am a Real Estate Investor currently engaged in a project in a small rural town in Missouri, located approximately one hour from Kansas City. I have acquired a dilapidated multi-family building, which is undergoing renovations for the apartments. The complex comprises eight habitable units along with two office spaces. At present, three units are occupied: two are leased on a long-term basis, and one is available for short-term rental, while I continue to renovate the remaining units. My objective is to offer high-quality housing to our tenants, with a primary focus on safety and aesthetic appeal. I take great pride in the efforts I have invested to ensure that our apartment units are well-maintained. This endeavor is made possible with the support of my family. The funds will be used to replace windows and renovate four units in need of a complete overhaul. Additionally, I own a triplex that requires a full renovation. The funds will also go towards purchasing ductless mini-split systems for heating and cooling in all units. Currently, all rented units have new window air conditioning units and heaters, but I am looking for a more cost-effective solution. I also plan to replace the water tank with a tankless water heater, improve the building's appearance through painting, and upgrade old appliances. Finally, I will use the funds to repay the debt incurred from renovating the units, which was financed through personal savings, retirement funds, and credit cards.
