Butterfly Imprint 862819719 | Government Grant Application

Butterfly Imprint | Application Preview

Butterfly Imprint is seeking government grants to support the launch of a high-quality child care center. The funding will cover initial startup costs, including contracts, salaries, and operational expenses. The facility has passed an inspection and requires minor renovations to meet North Carolina standards for star-rated child care.

The business plans to gradually introduce programs for children aged 3 to 5 within five years, including the NC Pre-K program and before-and-after school care for children up to age 12, as well as a summer camp. Each new program will be implemented after the previous one has successfully launched.

There is a strong need for better child care options in the community, as existing facilities have long waiting lists for infants. Butterfly Imprint's experienced administrative team is committed to establishing a 5-Star Childcare facility in an area currently served by only seven other centers, all with limited enrollment.

In terms of competition, established players like All Star Learning Center, Kiddie Kare, and Love-N-Care pose significant competition due to their history and experience. However, Butterfly Imprint aims to differentiate itself by focusing on the infant age group, ensuring that infants receive personalized attention instead of being mixed with older children. This approach is designed to directly address the community's needs and reduce the waiting list for infant care.

With this funding we would make one time purchases of a security and live surveillance, program curriculum, bedding, furniture, toys, food and other materials that are essential to developing a high quality child care center.

  • Business Plan

Within the next 5 years we plan to phase in various age groups ranging from 3 years of age to age 5 while implementing the NC Pre-K program and lastly providing a before and after school program to children up to age 12 this includes a summer camp program. Each of the phases listed above will be implemented after the successful operation of the previous program. Our community lacks adequate high quality child care facilities and they all have an extensive waiting list for enrollment for children ages birth to 1 year of age. Based on the amount of education and experience obtained by our administrative staff and team we have the will power to bring a 5 Star Childcare facility to our area, currently there are 7 in total with limited enrollment abilities.

  • Self Identified Competition

ALL STAR LEARNING CENTER OF STANLY CO. OF NC, INC. KIDDIE KARE LOVE-N-CARE Would be our top competitors due to established history and the length and time they have been in business. Our biggest advantage is that we are specializing in the infant age group which will provide families with reassurance that their infant is getting the adequate time and attention they need oppose to overcrowding various age groups into our facility. Our goal starting is to focus on our communities greatest need and decrease the number of infants on the waiting list in our area.
