The Wildflower na | Government Grant Application

The Wildflower | Application Preview

The Wildflower is seeking government grants to support its growth in the Airbnb industry. The funding would be directed either toward paying off existing debt from the current Airbnb or building additional properties to increase revenue.

Over the next five years, the business aims to expand by acquiring multiple Airbnbs. The plan is to pay off one property before developing another, which will enable better management and the hiring of staff for cleaning and maintenance.

The application argues for funding approval based on the applicant's entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to customer satisfaction. At just 23, the applicant transformed a personal home into an Airbnb to create a secondary source of income, demonstrating a willingness to take risks and a commitment to improving the guest experience continuously.

Located in Steelville, MO, the Airbnb faces competition from various floating resorts and other Airbnb listings in the area. Major competitors include Bass River Resort and Huzzah Valley Resort. However, the applicant believes they have a competitive edge by providing personalized customer service, such as fulfilling special requests and ensuring that guests have everything they need during their stay.

The applicant's passion for hospitality and desire to turn this venture into a full-time business is emphasized, highlighting a commitment to going above and beyond for customers in a way that many competitors may not. This dedication to personalized service and the unique touches offered at The Wildflower aim to create a memorable experience for guests, setting it apart in the local market.

My use of this funding would either be used to pay off the debt of the current Airbnb or to build another one to generate more revenue.

  • Business Plan

In the next five years, I plan to have multiple Airbnbs. Once I get one paid off, I will build another one. This will allow me to manage the properties and hire more employees to clean and do maintenance. Investors should invest in be because I am a go-getter with an entrepreneur spirit. At 23 I had a vision of making my house an Airbnb to generate a secondary income, so I took the risk and moved out to do that. I put my customers first and make sure they are always satisfied. I am constantly improving my property and making sure my customers have everything they need. I would love to be able to grow my business and spread my hospitality that is hard to find in this world.

  • Self Identified Competition

The Airbnb is located in Steelville, MO where there are multiple floating resorts. Although the resorts are what bring customers to my Airbnb, they are also my competitors because they have lodging as well. These competitors would be Bass River Resort, Huzzah Valley Resort, and other Airbnb's. Investors should invest in my business because I go above and beyond and go the extra mile for my customers. If they request something, I bring it. If they need pizza delivered I do it. My customers are the root of my business, so they come first. I am always improving and making sure my customers are completely satisfied. I ask customers for feedback so I know how to get better. The personal touches I bring to my business can't be found anywhere else. Other Airbnbs in the area do this as a side gig. I want to do this as my full-time business because it is my passion. I love hosting, being a property manager and welcoming others into my property.
