Business Plan
Expand my store to include a braiding salon Collaborate with other small beauty supply owners, pool our funds together and buy directly from manufacturers so that we can offer competitive and cheaper prices than most of us are doing now as we buy from wholesalers thereby increasing the sales prices of our goods. Train new beauty supply owners and share my knowledge, also help them with new beauty supply setup to reduce looses incurred by most new beauty supply store owners due to naivety. I am a store owner who has been in this business since Nov 2020 when I registered my business and started my beauty supply owner journey. I have made every type of mistake you can make in this journey and I have learnt the lessons I need to learn to make my business better. I’m my sole investor and I’m still putting in all my secondary funds into the business. I am committed and passionate about redefining the beauty supply store experience for consumers as I operate from being a consumer myself and my aim is for my business to define the standard of a beauty supply store experience while providing the products the consumer needs. I’m hands on and I give the business my all. I shop the products myself, I do the inventory and shelf management myself, I survey questions and always ask for feedback and implement the feedbacks we receive. I am open to corrections and learning how I can be better.

Self Identified Competition
Jenny Beauty Supply in Oak Cliff Sally’s beauty supply I am all in, it’s more than just a business for me. I want the beauty supply store experience to be redefined and the best way to advocate for that is to show it can be done. Customers can be treated with respect and provided with quality service at the same time. I know the products I sell, I use them and I’m able to recommend the products because I experiment on myself. My customers can ask me questions about the products and I can advise correctly. For example, someone comes in with dry skin, I recommend the natural products like body oils, black soaps and shea butter. A lot of customers ask me for products they can use for their edges to grow, anti-itch, edge control, hair conditioning, I’m able to guide them to products I have personally used and also tell them how I used them, combined them and got results. I use the products I sell and so it’s easy for me to sell them and market them.
