Business Plan
Our growth plan is to continue reaching out, and offering our advertising services, to local businesses in our community however we have plans to reach out to businesses in neighboring communities as well. In addition, we are looking to offer new products to our customers, along with new businesses, such as digital advertising services. In other words, if prospects are not interested in our print advertising offerings we now have digital advertising products to offer them. We have an excellent name and reputation in our community and, as such, have created a product that our readers look forward to receiving in their mailbox every month. We were a finalist for Business of the Year three years ago and won Business of the Year in 2002 for our Chamber of Commerce Community Awards. We produce quality stories highlighting all that is good in the communities we serve and provide advertising opportunities for the local small businesses that they cannot find elsewhere. We have partnered with the local Chambers of Commerce to give them a voice so they can communicate to the community what they are working on and we sponsor local events and youth sports team/tournaments throughout the course of the year. To summarize, we are the quintessential community publication which ties the community together. Without us the community would not have an opportunity to learn about what's happening on our community (we publish a robust community calendar), escape their busy lives in the form of a fun crossword puzzle and word search, or read feature stories about their neighbors or leaders in the community that they don't get to experience elsewhere.

Self Identified Competition
San Diego Union Tribune, Ramona Sentinel, Facebook As stated above we are the ONLY media entity who highlights all that is good in the community with feature stories and is direct mailed to 10,000 mailboxes every month. One of our competitors is a daily regional newspaper who doesn't feature any stories about our community and the other, a weekly newspaper, is delivered to driveways throughout the community and reports on the good, the bad and the ugly in our community.
