Elite Ag LLC | Application Preview
Elite Ag LLC is seeking government grants to stabilize its financial situation and enhance its services. The funding will be used to pay off high-interest debts, settle old vendor obligations, and provide modest wage increases to retain employees during a critical transition period.
The business has recently started offering drone spraying services, which have received positive feedback from customers. There is a strong demand for this innovative technology in agriculture, and Elite Ag aims to expand this service to meet farmers' needs.
Founded by Eric Schaefer over ten years ago, Elite Ag was built on the mission of supporting farmers. Eric's commitment to understanding and addressing farmers' concerns sets the company apart from a larger competitor in the area that offers similar services but prioritizes profits over customer care.
The company believes that with funding, it can continue making a meaningful impact in the community, maintain its workforce, and expand its drone services to better serve local farmers.

Funding Usage
We would use the funding to pay off our high interest rate credit cards and loans. We would pay off some old debts that our vendors have been so patient with us, as we were making small payments to them. We would increase our employee wages a small amount to hopefully hold onto them as we transition into a better financial position. This community needs us and we really would love to stay in business to provide them with all the services that we can.

Business Plan
We started the drone spraying this year. Our customers are very pleased with the service. We would love to increase this part of our business to be able to handle all farmers that are interested in this new technology. Drones and parts are expensive, but we feel there is a great need in agriculture at this time for this type of service. Our company was started from scratch to help farmers. Our owner, Eric Schaefer, has kept that mission alive for more than 10 years. He listens to the farmers. He is always looking for new ways to help the farmer and/ or save him /her some money. All of our people work very hard and deserve compensation for the time and loyalty.

Self Identified Competition
We have one company in our area that is a large company that provides all the services that we do. I won't mention the name, because I am not that type of person. They can provide services and products at a better rate because of their size. The only difference between us is that we care about the farmer. Eric came from a farming family and that is where his heart will always be. The other company does not seem to care and takes advantage of people, which is not right.
