Holmtown Pub 93-4590620 | Government Grant Application

Holmtown Pub | Application Preview

Holmtown Pub is seeking government funding to expand its restroom facilities, aiming to add one stall each to the men's and women's restrooms. This expansion necessitates a redesign of their kitchen but is expected to enhance the overall customer experience and increase business revenue by 15% to 25% with minimal additional expenses. The funding would enable Holmtown Pub to employ two more staff members, contributing to community job growth.

As a veteran-owned, locally operated business, Holmtown Pub is deeply involved in supporting local non-profits and educational initiatives. The team fosters a family-like atmosphere, prioritizing growth and development for all employees. Their collaborative approach extends to competitors, as they believe that mutual success benefits the entire community.

The pub faces competition from Sharkey's Pub and Grub and Brickstreet BBQ, both located nearby, but believes its superior customer service and commitment to team members provide a distinct competitive advantage.

  • Funding Usage

To better serve our community and to offer more opportunities for our employees, we need to expand our bathroom size. We would like to increase both the men's and women's restrooms by one stall. In order to do this logistically, we would need to rearrange our kitchen. The improvement would allow us to provide a better customer experience and increase business. This should put us in a position to employ an additional two team members.

  • Business Plan

With the improvements to our infrastructure, I expect a 15% to 25% growth in revenue with minimal increase in expense. This will allow us to employ additional team members and better serve our community. We are veteran and locally owned. We are extremely active in supporting our local non-profit and education sectors. Our team operates like a family and supports the growth goals of all of our team members. We lead not only at work but in the community by example. We support even our competitors, believing in the philosophy - "traffic makes business good, if we are busy then they will prosper and if they are busy we will prosper"

  • Self Identified Competition

Sharkey's Pub and Grub - located 1 block away. Similar menu and hours. Brickstreet BBQ - located 1 block away. Mostly BBQ and dine-in business, little liquor sales. Our attitude about customer service and the way we treat our team members.
