  • Funding Usage

The grant money would be used for marketing and advertising to attract new customers, as well as investing in more equipment as our industry is constantly evolving and requires up to date machines to handle all types of vehicles. It would also allow us to make additional upgrades to the facility like adding an air conditioner and more lighting which in turn will boost productivity.

  • Business Plan

Over the next 5 years our plan is to become the highest rated, most trusted repair shop in northwest Tucson, a market that is growing rapidly and shows no signs of slowing. The way we will do that will be by constantly putting out the highest quality work, as well as having the best customer service in the area so people feel good when they leave our facility. I will also be marketing to as many mechanic shops and other auto industry facilities, as collision repair and mechanics go hand in hand, but they are separate industries that work closely with each other to ensure cars are repaired properly. I will also be building relationships with insurance companies and agents so that our name will be synonymous with quality, trust and customer service. My long term goal is to also partner with a friend that is a mechanic as well as a mobile tire specialist to create Tucsons first ever one stop shop, where we can tackle anything anyone needs as far as automotive repair goes, from regular maintenance to heavy mechanical or collision repair as there are no current facilities that offer all of that under one roof. I am an extremely motivated and driven individual, and at 35 years old with 17 years of experience as a technician, working at both small mom and pop shops as well as large corporations, I've learned that the two most important things people look for in a shop are trust and quality. People want to be able to trust where they take their vehicles to get repairs and not feel like they're being taken advantage of, as well as know that their vehicle was repaired correctly, and that has been my main goal since starting this business. I also started this business with the goal of hiring and training young persons looking to get into the industry to help continue to build a workforce of highly skilled technicians that can continue to help this trade evolve and thrive in our local community. I was lucky enough to be hired as an apprentice right out of high school with almost no experience, and I've been able to pay that forward by training a few apprentices of my own over the years that have gone on to become successful technicians themselves. Imparting my knowledge to help these guys succeed has been one of my greatest joys and I would really like to continue doing that as well. I have built a large network of clientele over the years, all of which continue to spread the word that my quality and customer service are second to none, and I continue to get repeat clients regularly. Due to my strong work ethic and attention to quality, I've recently I've garnered a partnership with Cox Communications Group to be the only shop they want working on their entire fleet of maintenance trucks in both Tucson and Phoenix, and I'd like to expand into doing repairs for other large fleet companies as well.

  • Self Identified Competition

Our only competitors in my area are Spectrum collision, who has been around a long time but doesn't have a good reputation for quality but happens to be the only smaller shop near us. The other competition are two of the largest chain body shops in the country, Gerber and Caliber collision centers, both of which have huge contracts with insurance companies that forces them to use cheaper parts and tend to not have the best customer service as they have way too much volume to be able to treat evert customer with the one on one service they deserve. First and foremost I am a people person, I enjoy meeting new people and garnering personal relationships that will continue to grow and strengthen as we work on their and their families' vehicles. I am also very empathetic and have an innate ability to put myself in other peoples shoes, so I completely understand how difficult it is to deal with an automobile accident, especially when its your first time, and my goal to try to help people as much as possible to navigate through their situations. All of my customers have come away happy and feeling like they were personally taken care of because they were! That is what sets us apart from every other shop in our area.
