Funding Usage
I will use the grant funds to restore homes and providing habitable living for citizens in my community. There are several homes in my community that has deteriated and could be saved by someone like myself with professional experience in the real estate industry. The grant funding will be a one time investment that will drive the mission of building up a large portion of my community.

Business Plan
The plan is to take over current mortgages or obtain single family homes below market value. This will allow more equity to work with on restoring the property to a habitable status. The funds that are left over, combined with the equity will be used to purchase multi-family properties. Mutli-family properties will be approached with a similar strategy as single family homes, however, the potential for equity increases due to having more cash flow from rent. Therefore, we will have the opportunity to grow the portfolio exponentially over the next 5 years. This will result in providing lower rents for our tenants versus what the market offers. I make a great partner for this investment because I have helped so many families while having very little resources. The joy that I have provided those families motivated for me to strive and help families on a larger scale. After honorably discharging from the U.S Army, I struggled with finding my place in corporate america. I figured after serving my country for 11 years and obtaining a Doctor in Business Administration while serving, I could get a high paying job that would help me carry out my goal. However, I have found that my background is not as marketable as I intended it to be. Although, I am not seeing any success in the job market, I still have the motivation to get out and carry out my selfless plan and I know anyone that invest in me will be glad to be a part of what I am intending to do for hundreds of families.
