Gratitude Foods LLC 80-3155289 | Government Grant Application

Gratitude Foods LLC | Application Preview

Gratitude Foods LLC is seeking government grants to support its operations during the winter months in a tourist-heavy area. The funding will be primarily allocated toward covering rent, creating signage to attract customers, and exploring various marketing strategies. Additionally, they aim to upgrade their refrigeration to commercial-grade units.

The business plan focuses on menu expansion, utilizing new cooling space, developing an outdoor patio for additional service, and potentially opening a second location in a busier area. Gratitude Foods believes they are on the right path, as feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, reflecting their commitment to quality food and excellent service.

In terms of competition, they recognize The Glenn Store across the street as a direct competitor, primarily due to their takeout offerings. However, Gratitude Foods points out their unique selling proposition: fresh, never frozen ingredients, superior service, and a welcoming atmosphere. They take pride in their product quality, cleanliness, and overall dining experience, setting them apart in their tourist-driven market. The application emphasizes their dedication and vision to become a key culinary destination in West Michigan.

  • Funding Usage

The first bit we would use to cover our rent for the winter months. We are in a touristy area and it slows down quite a bit in the off season. We would also use use it for some signs on the highway so people know there is food fright off the exit. As well as a few other marketing avenues. We would also love to upgrade some coolers to commercial grad cooler/freezer space.

  • Business Plan

We plan on expanding our menu permanently after acquiring new refrigeration space. Opening up our outdoor area to build a patio with service and hopefully expand to a second location in a more heavy foot traffic area. Investors should invest in us because we are extremely hard working and will never compromise our passion, hard work, fresh food, service and love of our restaurant less than great. I know that we are on the right path, after talking with each guest they are radiating simply from trying the food and seeing our dream. Our DBA is Creekside Kitchen and if you go to our reviews they will speak for themselves. Please help us continue building our dream to being one of the great food staples in the West Michigan area.

  • Self Identified Competition

One of our competitors is The Glenn store. They are located right across the street. They do all takeout (pizza, subs) but it's their proximity that keeps them competitive to us. All of our other competitors are 10-15 miles away. There is a big difference between us and them. It is the fresh never frozen meat and quality of products we put out. Not to mention the service and atmosphere are both warm and inviting. We are located in a touristy area where all any restaurant owner care about is put food on a plate and and waiting on the next table. We take pride in everything we do from product, freshness, plating, service, cleanliness and atmosphere.
