Funding Usage
Funding will be used to cover materials, labor, and marketing expenses in order to enter the market and reach profitability. Due to the low overhead and high degree of flexibility of our business model, profitability should be realized once the second hull is produced and sold.

Business Plan
Once we have finished the R&D phase and received approval from a licenced naval architect we will produce our first full scale boat in house. This hull will be used primarily as a large scale demonstrator and for marketing purposes. Further hulls intended for sale will be subcontracted to local fabrication shops until we have reached such a volume that bringing manufacturing in house becomes financially feasible. We are spending a significant amount of time and resources in the R&D phase to ensure our final product will exceed customer expectations. We are currently working on version 65, with noticeable improvements realized on almost every iteration. We anticipate reaching our final design by Version 75, but there is no constraint limiting further iteration. Our main focus is in creating aluminum plate catamarans that excel in the areas of comfort, durability, and safety while incorporating unique and attractive styling. As with most businesses, our most limited resource restricting our growth is capital, and any help along the way is greatly appreciated.

Self Identified Competition
World Cat, Twin Vee, and Glacier Bay are our most relevant competition. All of these manufacturers produce catamarans with nearly identical dimensions with the exception of Glacier Bay whose smallest hull is 3 feet longer than our intended 24 feet. However, despite our similar dimensions our hull should come in at roughly half the final weight due to our aluminum construction. Our proprietary hull design eliminates bow steer, a common phenomenon among catamarans which make them traditionally inherently unstable at speed and with variable weight distribution. Our usage of marine grade aluminum plate instead of a more traditional fiberglass construction also ensures easy maintenance and repair should damage occur. Finally, safety on the water is our top priority, so positive floatation and mechanical redundancy for all systems will be incorporated. There are a lot of boat manufacturers out there, but ours will stand out amongst the competition due to our focus on safety, performance, and durability, in addition to an all aluminum construction.
