Funding Usage
I would like to use these funds to help grow my practice via community advertising/outreach, cover expenses related to therapy/diagnostic materials, assist with reimbursement for continuing education/licensure, and grow my team via employment of other speech therapists and financial/administrative staff.
-
Business Plan
I want to grow my business in the next 5 years by having a brick and mortar location, employing office/administrative staff, and employing more speech-language pathologists. I also want to grow my company's brand by investing in recording equipment so I can develop parent coaching/training videos to sell on my practice's website. I believe my company deserves investors because I'm providing a one-of-a-kind service. Most speech therapy practices in my area are not neurodiversity-affirming or gender-affirming, and do not offer assistance to adults in an outpatient setting. There are many therapists in my area that do not offer gender-affirming voice therapy, and do not know how to treat individuals who have gender dysphoria as well as neurodiversity-related traits. My area desperately needs assistance for both children and adults, and I would like to cater to a truly underserved population.

Self Identified Competition
SpeechFamily- SpeechFamily is a pediatric therapy practice that acts as a generalist in all areas of communication. They do not offer services to adults or offer specialist services. Scoop Speech- Scoop Speech is a pediatric therapy practice that acts as a generalist in all areas of communication. They do not offer services to adults or offer specialist services. Prominent Therapy Services- PTS is a pediatric therapy practice that acts as a generalist in all areas of communication. They do not offer services to adults or offer specialist services. We are different from the rest in that we offer services to adults as well as children. We understand that communication difficulties do not stop when a child turns 18. We specialize in neurodiversity-affirming care, and promote a holistic trauma-informed approach that the rest do not. As a specialist, we can provide specialized care for those on the autism spectrum, dyslexia, and individuals with ADHD which is desperately needed in our area.
