Strife Services, LLC 23677962 | Government Grant Application

Strife Services, LLC | Application Preview

Strife Services, LLC is seeking government grant funding primarily for maintenance expenses on its truck, crucial for its operational viability. The grant will cover essential repairs, including an engine rebuild, catalytic converter replacement, AC compressor repair, and brake services, totaling approximately $9,150. A dedicated maintenance fund will facilitate ongoing upkeep and prevent operational downtime.

The business aims to expand beyond its current contract with Principle Distribution Arizona by securing additional contracts on weekends and after completing weekday routes. Potential opportunities include junk removal and oversized product deliveries sourced through platforms like Craigslist and the company website. There are plans to hire additional employees to support this growth and eventually transition to running independent contracts.

The grant application underscores the applicant's determination to succeed and grow the business, striving to compete effectively within the industry. While acknowledging established competitors with decades of experience, the applicant expresses a desire to adopt shared values without imitation. The unique personal touch and character of the business are highlighted as key differentiating factors, positioning Strife Services, LLC for future success.

  • General Information

    Number of Employees: 1-10 Employees

Annual Gross Income: Less than $100k

Annual Gross Expense: Less than $100k

  • Funding Usage

My biggest concern for this funding would be for the maintenance expenses. Engine Rebuild - $5200; Catalytic Converter replacement - $1800; AC compressor - $1400; Brakes and rotors - $750; These costs include labor and shop fees. Current YTD maintenance and repairs - $6830.93. A maintenance fund of that caliber would be very helpful with keeping my truck operational and any remaining would solely be used for future maintenance needs.

  • Business Plan

I plan to take my business beyond the single contract with Principle Distribution Arizona by taking on more contracts after my routes with Courtesy Chevrolet have been completed during the week and taking some contracts on Saturdays. To start, these contracts would be a 1 time contract like picking up a junk removal bid, or meeting a client at a Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, or Walmart and delivering their oversized purchase to their residence. These clients would be found through Craigslist and my website. I am also thinking of increasing my employees from just myself to 2 or 3 more and to eventually move on from Principle Distribution Arizona and running solely on my own contracts. Once my truck's major repairs have been taken care of, my plans for expansion can begin. I feel investors should invest in me and my business because I want to succeed. I want to do well in this business and be able to expand and be more than just a little upstart, I want to be able to nip at the heels of my competitors and be able to hold my own, possibly even jump ahead at times. I don't want to dominate the industry, there's more than enough business needs in this industry that we all can compete professionally and strive to be the best. I want to be able to do what I love and also take care of my family and meet the needs of my family.

  • Self Identified Competition

Mercury Delivery Service - 24 years; Miranda Delivery Service - 26 years; Dressler Courier - family owned 30 years; These businesses have been around for a couple decades. Going through their mission and core values, I feel we share much of the same qualities and it is these qualities that I want to instill in my own business and I'm not saying to copy them, but by holding on to these qualities and core values, I can eventually see myself 20 or 30 years from now, looking back at how I was barley off the ground, just trying to get through that first year and thinking, wow, what a trip, but I made it. I am me and there is no one else like me. While there may be some similarities as a person, as a character, I am my own and as such, the same can be said for my business.
