I would use grant money to build my business. Buying new tools like drain clearing snakes, a trailer to hold materials for large jobs and other tools to be more efficient on jobs. Also having the capitol to buy materials so jobs can be finished properly.

Business Plan
In the next 5 years I plan to have the company able to support a crew of 4 employees. I would like to have a new construction plumbing job completed a week with one crew and a second crew doing service calls assisting home owners repairing their homes. Plumbing is an essential part of our culture. Without plumbers we can not have the large scale cities that exist today. Unfortunately, people are taking up the plumbing trade less and less. I would like to build a business that promotes growth and learning. I would like to push education and modern training in all my employees. If my dream comes to fruition we can build something that can support new plumbers and their families for generations to come.

Self Identified Competition
There are many plumbing outfits in the Bozeman area. Shops like Williams Plumbing and Heating that have over 200 employees. They have a department fully staffed for every aspect of the plumbing trade including service, new construction residential and new construction commercial. They are equipped to support jobs large and small. Other large shops in the area who have large staff and support large jobs include Central Plumbing and Heating and Campbells Plumbing and Heating. There are also smaller shops doing a great job supporting the community like Keys Plumbing and Bobs Plumbing. Running just one man and a truck to help as many people as they can. I have a heart for the people of Bozeman. I want to create a system that will provide a long lasting healthy relationship with home owners and general contractors. I want my company to foster learning and training so that we can do our part to slow the flood of people leaving the industry. The more I can do for my community the more we can help each other through tough times.
