D.S.R. Land & Properties LLC | Application Preview
D.S.R. Land & Properties LLC is seeking government grants to acquire, renovate, market, and insure properties with a focus on providing affordable housing. The business plan targets low to middle-income individuals with steady incomes, offering rentals below market rates to ensure affordability. The strategy involves using stable income to purchase more properties and continue this cycle.
The applicant, an 18-year veteran of the U.S. Army, brings a strong commitment to success and aims to establish the business following military service. The justification for funding emphasizes the need for sustainable income and the desire to positively impact the community.
In terms of competition, the main challenges include government housing voucher programs, larger corporations with more financial resources, and established entrepreneurs in the industry. However, the business aims to stand out by prioritizing community welfare and providing well-maintained, affordable housing, addressing issues like rising rent, homelessness, and crime, which have worsened due to profit-driven practices.

Business Plan
Marketing will focus on low to middle class personnel who have stable streams of income. Housing will be listed below the market rental rates and always remain affordable to the given community. I will use these stable streams of income to procure more properties and repeat the process. I am an 18 year veteran of the United States Army. I am driven to succeed in everything I endeavor to do. I understand that I must have multiple streams of income in order to live the lifestyle I want to live. As my military career comes to a close, I am highly motivated to get this business up and running as soon as possible.

Self Identified Competition
My top competitor is the state and local governments that provide low income individuals with vouchers to assist with rent. My second competitor is the large corporation that is able to out bid me on any property that I am interested in. Lastly there's the entrepreneur that has already established a foot hold in the industry and has the disposable income to procure more properties. I value the people and the community. I want the community to have a safe, updated, nice place to live at an affordable rate. Rental rates have skyrocketed across the U.S. for no real reason other than to maximize profits. This adds to the homeless population, crime rate, drug use, and empty unused properties.
