Fellsway Wanderers FC LLC 850691629 | Government Grant Application

Fellsway Wanderers FC LLC | Application Preview

Fellsway Wanderers FC LLC is applying for government grants to address several financial needs and enhance their youth soccer program. The funding would be used to refinance high-interest credit card debt incurred from purchasing lighting equipment and to buy additional goal and player training equipment. Additionally, they aim to purchase more lights to accommodate increased field usage in the fall.

The business plan includes working with the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center to refine their strategy, establish a nonprofit arm for grant and sponsorship opportunities, and focus on the professional development of their coaches. They also plan to engage social media marketing to promote the club effectively while maintaining a high player retention rate and expanding their youngest teams, particularly in their girls' program.

The club’s funding request highlights a commitment to community impact as a first-generation Hispanic business owner who has invested significant unpaid time into developing the organization. Their vision is to create an inclusive environment that supports underprivileged youth by providing essential resources through sports, thereby fostering life skills and personal growth.

In terms of competition, Fellsway Wanderers faces established organizations like FC Stars, SFC New England, and Sea Coast United. However, they believe their unique approach—prioritizing player-focused evaluations over traditional tryouts, affordability in club participation, and a year-round training model—sets them apart. Their emphasis on personal development and community-oriented values positions Fellsway Wanderers as a compelling candidate for funding, centered around a holistic, non-traditional approach to youth soccer.

  • Self Identified Competition

FC Stars - We get a lot of players who don't get technical coaching on a regular basis.Huge company traditionally run. SFC New England - We get a lot players who don't get player focused training also a huge corporation business model. Sea coast United- one of the biggest clubs in New England to compete with there marketing and huge budgets they. A non traditional club with a hotlist approach toward a player focused club. We don't have tryouts rather have "evaluations" to meet every player where there at and develop a path to develop life schools through soccer. A more affordable club tuition style rather than a traditional club contracts with penalties and much higher cost to participate in club soccer. Our four phases of training and providing 12 months training in two locations makes us very different than our competitors being run by coaches than bank corporation.
