Folger Street Inn & Coffeehouse is applying for government grants due to significant struggles over the past year. The funding will be crucial for keeping the business operational, covering monthly expenses, and supporting the local community.
The business plans to renovate the third floor to create family-friendly accommodations, increasing capacity and appealing to families with young children. Additionally, they aim to develop an outdoor patio for guests. Funding Usage
My business has struggled tremendously over the past year, without some kind of assistance I am unsure what the future holds. These funds would keep my doors open, assist with paying my monthly bills, and continue to serve my small community for years to come!

Business Plan
Over the next 5 years I would love to renovate the 3rd floor of the house to create a space for families staying at the Inn. This would give me the opportunity to accommodate more guests and especially families with young children. We also plan to make a patio space in front of the business for an outdoor seating area. I currently employ 2 college students and would like to expand my employment. This is a great opportunity for our youth to learn customer service skills! Investors should invest in me because my business is at the heart of our small town. Locals meet daily for coffee and conversation. Out of town guests have a quiet, safe and comfortable place to stay. I am dedicated to my community and want to continue to serve my hometown with my business. When I opened my business nearly 10 years ago, I had a vision for bringing our community together. To have a place with comfortable seating and a welcoming atmosphere. A place where we share stories, give and get advice, create new friendships and come together to meet old friends!
