A Place to Stay DE LLC | Application Preview
A Place to Stay DE LLC is applying for government funding to expand its housing initiatives for homeless, disenfranchised, veteran, and elderly populations. The business has grown rapidly from one property to fifteen, acquiring about three homes per month. The owner aims to continue expanding through purchases, leases, and rentals to address the ongoing housing crisis. By purchasing properties instead of leasing, the business can allocate more resources toward essentials like furniture, job training, and financial literacy programs. A long-term goal includes establishing a shelter within the next year.
The applicant emphasizes a proven track record of securing housing for various government and social service clients. Their commitment is rooted in personal experience and a deep passion for helping those in need, making this not just a business but a mission.
While there are other housing organizations such as the Wilmington Housing Authority and The Hope Center, the applicant sees them as collaborators rather than competitors, often providing assistance when those organizations face overflow. The key differentiator is A Place to Stay's focus on long-term housing with fully furnished accommodations, creating stable, permanent living situations rather than temporary solutions.

Business Plan
My business has been growing expeditiously, I started with one home and now have fifteen. I plan to try to get more supply for the demand. The housing Crises in Delaware and, many other states, need an answer to this growing problem. I plan to use creative ideas and strategies to buy. lease and or rent as many properties as I can to do my part to answer the call of the housing crises. I have been obtaining about three properties a month from realtors to house my business A Place to Stay De LLC. If I began to purchase property i can save money to put in other areas of the business-like furniture, job placement, job training, financial literacy and more. I look forward to acquiring a shelter within the next year or so as well. Investors should invest in me because I have a solid model that is proven successful, I have secured housing for VA, DSC, DHHS and, WHA clients to name a few. Also, I have the answer to a growing problem in the housing industry. Furthermore, this is personal for me as a child I watched my mother try to secure housing for my 11 siblings and I and she was turned down and cried many of nights. So, for me this is my ministry, my mission, and my purpose all in one.

Self Identified Competition
WHA / Wilmington Housing Authority The Hope Center DAHG Delaware affordable housing group. Though I don't count them as competitors because they call on me for help with housing. So, I get their overflow so more like collaboration not competition I am different from my competitors because I offer long-term housing options whereas my competitors housing options are temporary. Also, I supply all furnishings, including but not limited to beds, sofas, TV's, tables, appliances., linen and a safe clean nice environment for my tenants to call their forever home.
