Funding Usage
Pay off vendors we owe, buy inventory, make new business cards, make flyers and literature in both Spanish and English that customers have been asking for. Pay for online marketing so it can generate more sales to my online store. Buy a new POS system which is very much needed. Make work uniform shirts with my logo, buy a logo stamp for my bags we give customers with purchase, make custom bags with my logo, advertise in local magazine to generate foot traffic. Pay to build a fridge in my kiosk that I’ve been needing, pay to add marketing material to my kiosk such as decals promoting what I sell to catch customers eyes as they’re walking. Expand kiosk layout & rent inventory storage with mall & also pay for more promotional material across the mall to showcase my store.

Business Plan
I plan to have a store front along with still maintaining my kiosk, the vision is to have a brick & mortar structure where I can have my office, restroom, lunch room. VS here at mall I have no office space, restrooms are on the other end of mall & I have to eat at my kiosk. Also this space would allow me to have more personal one on one’s with my customers as well as be able to better keep records. Hoping to obtain a computer as well to print out all of my own materials vs having to get them printed elsewhere and pay for it. I want to employ a few people to work at kiosk while I start up the store front. In my vision both will be open that way for regular customers they can just stop by mall and pick up and others can come see me in store first to talk about what items are right for them. I am a Mexican American, 27 year old woman who’s been working most of my life trying to make a future for myself & now my almost 4 year old son. I started my company when I was left to be a single mother & was spiraling down because my health had gotten out of hand. The products I sell helped save my life as I am super allergic and sensitive to so many hygiene products, lotions & more.... I have seen me help so many people who were in the same shoes I was in 5+ years ago, my company changes life’s for the better. I have 5 star reviews on google & am a local favorite. I have a lot of locals who just want to see me win so they can keep benefiting from the items I provide. I have became a staple in this community & because of the industry I am in its hard for banks to bank with me for my business therefore grants would be appreciated. I’ve been in business for 2 years only because my products work not because of funding, so funding would allow my business to grow & provide better pricing.

Self Identified Competition
I don’t really have any competition inside the mall, aside from curaçao which is a store inside the mall that also sales the same items I sell from a different brand. Other kiosk owners in the same industry as me in other malls I guess would be some what of a competition because their set ups are way nicer then mines, they have more inventory and better pricing. This Ive heard from mall shoppers who stop by & say oh at ***** mall it’s way cheaper or do u have this and that, that ******* mall has? & I won’t do it does seem like that would be my competition. I’m a small business, all my competitors are huge million dollar companies that just got into this industry to make a buck. I myself started my company because it saved my life & I want to provide my customers with organic, natural, items vs all the cheap stuff competitors are selling. I pride myself in being a small business owner & with COVID hitting me hard last year & not getting any type of loan or grant last year at all. I’ve struggled to stay open & went through my whole life savings. Now every month I am depending on my regulars to help me stay open by their constant purchases. I am pushing a healthier major pain relief lifestyle which will benefit the world one customer at a time. If you look up my reviews you’ll see I’m very good with customer service when it comes to my customers because I have the knowledge my competitors don’t. I actually know what I’m talking about when I explain my products and what they do and are good for and the source’s, I’ve studied for years about my industry before staring my brand. When customers come I have ALL the answers for any question they have vs when they go to other kiosk in other malls asking the same questions the employees don’t know anything & can’t answer in depth questions. I operate my business these competitors don’t.
