We help house and assist veterans who are enrolled in colleges and universities. We connect them with other veterans and help to provide them with support as they complete their degree or professional certificates.

Business Plan
We want to continue to provide housing to student veterans. The Bunker Project currently operates a 5 bedroom home to veterans attending UNLV. The home is a 10 minute walk from campus. We wish to purchase more homes and open them up to veteran students. Our goal is to eliminate any potential stressors that might prevent the veterans from finishing their education. We hope to connect our residents and give them resources in the homes they live in. We want to provide as much financial flexibility as possible by providing things like pro-rated rent and help with food and bills. The GI bill funding can often be inconsistent and difficult to navigate. The Bunker Project hopes to fill these gaps and allow students to have budgets that are structured but also flexible. We want to pair our residential resources with outside help as well. We hope to open an office that can serve as a resource center. There we can help students with finishing their degree by providing child-care assistance, transportation, tutoring, graduate school application assistance and help with transferring to other universities. We can also help them with services such as job placement workshops and help with things like resume writing. The Bunker Project wants to be there to help overcome any obstacle that might get in the way of finishing a degree or certificate and transitioning into the working world. We are unique in that we tailor to the veteran that is a college student. There are ample resources for homeless veterans in Las Vegas but we want to focus on a specific group of college students. By supporting student veterans, we hope to reduce the stress and anxieties that might contribute to things like suicide, incarceration and substance abuse. Our means of accomplishing this goal will be providing safe and reliable housing for college students.

Self Identified Competition
We are a new organization and do not face any direct competition. The Veterans Village is currently a prominent organization that secures a lot of funding in Las Vegas. However, we want to work WITH as many organizations as we can. We are open to any guidance and partnerships from organizations in the community that might share our goal of helping the veteran safely transition into society. Our mission is to assist the veteran student that is attempting to stay grounded and finish their degree. We offer housing to veterans that are specifically enrolled in colleges or professional programs, especially those that are using the GI Bill.
