  • Funding Usage

I am currently working two jobs and struggling to pay my bills each month, so I will need a small amount of funding to cover marketing/brand awareness costs, costs of retail supplies and product customization, personal website fees, Secretary of State fees to stay in business, and to keep the minimum in my business bank account to avoid monthly fees. My business started as personal training only, but was hit very hard by the Covid-19 pandemic and I have struggled to make up the funds. However, this business and helping others/giving back to important organizations for research is my passion, and I would like to be able to continue the business but have not had the funding to do so.

  • Business Plan

As the business grows, I will be able to cut down my time at my day jobs and focus on my business and involve/employ other women in my business. I plan to expand by marketing (I already have a solid social media base for the business with good potential to get more loyal clients and customers), starting and expanding my product line, taking on more coaching clients once I have the time and money to do so, and spreading awareness about women’s health and fitness. My goal is to become a very legitimate resource for women struggling with health issues and giving them a holistic approach to correct these issues sustainably. I also hope to contribute a significant amount over time to IAPMD to progress research and offer more resources for women. I am a certified personal trainer, certified nutrition coach (both through NASM), and PMDD coach, and I really care for the health and well-being of those around me and the online support system I have created from the ground up via social media. I hope to change many women’s lives and bring their health/premenstrual disorders to light in the medical community because they are very serious, debilitating, and not well recognized by today’s healthcare system. I have already helped many women, and this is my main goal for my career. Giving back to authentic, trustworthy organizations like IAPMD is also extremely important to me, as I hope to be a major part of the development of health/premenstrual disorder awareness and recognition.

  • Self Identified Competition

My main competition involves other personal trainers, nutrition coaches, and women’s health coaches, as the industry is getting very crowded. It is difficult to gain recognition and trust in this industry because of the ever progressing resources via the internet, and others having the funding to receive help with promoting and growing. I do not have this currently because I am a young woman (24) and have been working very hard to support myself and still factoring in student loans from my Bachelor’s degree I earned in 2018. My personal experience with premenstrual dysphoric disorder and many other health issues that I have battled for life set me apart from my competitors. As mentioned, my main channels of promotion right now are social media, and I have found that I am a top result in the PMDD community because I offer genuine support, care, and knowledge that is hard to come by. I have deep compassion for those going through what I’ve been through because I’ve been very debilitated by that, so I hope to inspire women that they can overcome their medical and mental setbacks and live a fulfilling, happy life. I am also very honest with my own struggles on my social channels, so I have an extremely open hearted, accepting space on the internet in a world of social media toxicity.
