Funding will be used to fund (4) programs provided by Seeds of Faith. The programs involve providing real time assistance to members of the community who are in need of immediate assistance. Here is a brief synopsis of 2 of the programs: This program was established to serve the needs of the community with a focus on the specific needs of each generation. Our current program provides young people with mentorship and opportunities to learn about the needs of senior citizens and develop skills that help reach out and assist seniors with minor task, clean up and yard work. Seniors are provided with the opportunity to interact with motivated youth and enrich their lives through mentorship and life coaching experiences. KNOWLEDGE IS EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM. This program offers information and knowledge on relevant topics by providing free workshops led by community professionals in various fields. The first empowerment session titled “Everything you need to know about Insurance” provided participants with in depth knowledge and the opportunity to engage with local insurance professionals

Our 5 year plan includes growing our outreach to assist not only member of the local area, but to expand our field of influence. Foremost we plan to increase our funding to expand our current programs by seeking grants and available resources to continue our mission of providing real time assistance in the time of need. Seeds of Faith Corporation was organized April 18, 2019 by community members concerned with a number of issues affecting members who are underserved, and unaware of opportunities to obtain knowledge, multi-generational support, mentorship, exposure to available opportunities, pathways to artistic expression and the development of life skills. Our mission is to reach out to members of the multi-generational community who are in need of mentorship, empowerment and exposure to opportunities for success. Our vision is to provide and establish programs that educate, support, empower and promote financial well-being in the multi-generational community. Seeds of Faith Corporation is characteristic of the concept of planting seeds into individual lives with the expectation that it will spring forth with growth and development. Prior to our official incorporation we recognized that some needs in the community were not being served by existing sources. For example in the case of Hazel Callahan a young mother one of thousands waiting for available low income housing, As concerned community members we rallied to assist Hazel until her subsidized housing is ready. Sometimes the need for assistance is immediate that’s why our organization is unique. With our ear to the ground Seeds of Faith Corporation stands ready to provide immediate relief.

Self Identified Competition
Our top 3 competitors are other small non profit organizations engaged in community development, for example the Marion-Franklin civic association, Children's Alliance, Community Shares of Mid Ohio. These organization have similar missions in the community that our organization is located. Seeds of Faith is a grass roots organization with a focus on not only providing real time assistance and by real time we mean immediate help without the waiting period. We meet immediate needs and then provide extended mentoring and coaching to ensure individuals are supported mentally, emotionally and physically.
