Angela's Angles 202102180002236 | Government Grant Application

Angela's Angles | Application Preview

Angela's Angles is seeking government funding to enhance her photography business. The funds will be primarily used to upgrade her equipment, specifically transitioning from a beginner DSLR camera to a Canon R6 mirrorless camera, along with purchasing specialized lenses. Additionally, she plans to invest in educational resources to improve her skills and acquire a compatible desktop computer for photo editing.

Angela has a vision for her business that includes establishing a dedicated studio or greenhouse to enable year-round photography, even during winter months. She aims to offer seasonal mini sessions to attract more clients and envisions a calendar filled with destination weddings and elopements within the next four to five years.

Angela passionately describes her commitment to photography, having gained recognition by being published in four magazines over the past year. As a 33-year-old mother of two, her motivation is fueled by her adventurous children. She acknowledges competition in the area, including other established photographers, but emphasizes that her distinct boho country style sets her apart. Angela believes that each photographer’s unique artistic style is their trademark, strengthening her competitive edge in the local market.

  • Self Identified Competition

I would say over the brook photography in clio on main Street. She has a beautiful well lit, established studio and is well know in our community. Another one is leni kei photography located in the heart of downtown flint. Her work mesmerizing and she also o e of my favorite humans/ photographer to work with. I have shot with leni 3 times. As I listed above, Brooke, leni are some amazing photographers in our area. The thing that sets us apart from one another is our style. Every single photographer has their own style of work , our images are our art work. My style is more boho country style. Brooke has a more fairytale kinda style, and leni does alot bold bright colors. I think we all have a unique style and it's kinda like our own trademark. So to sum it up we have very different yet unique styles.
