Funding Usage
The money will go toward customizing our space to be designed around its purpose. Installing plumbing, building out the counters and party room, etc. The funds will also go toward the coffee shop equipment: espresso machine, starting inventory, cups, grinders, etc. ($30,000) as well as the play equipment and seating for the parents. Lastly, the remaining funds will go towards our starting capital.

Business Plan
We would love to open multiple locations in the Surf City or Hampstead area. As we grow in popularity, we would love to offer summer camps and possibly drop in care for moms heading to appointments. We believe in learning through play. Children were made to move and it is a crucial part of their development particularly children ages 0-6. There is virtually no facilities in this area that caters to this age group and with the amount of young families here, this business would be a huge blessing to this community. We want to help families build a village and be their support system.

Gemstone Dream (Surf City): offers open play and birthday packages Napoli Cafe (Sneads Ferry): coffee shop We will be serving the young families specifically. There are playgrounds and sports programs for older children leaving a gap in the market for younger children. Our space will be geared toward crawling babies up to preschool age kids. Providing a safe environment for them to play and a nice environment for parents to chat with friends or get some remote work done. There is nothing like this within 100 miles of our community, and the birth rates in this area are higher on average than the rest of the US. There are plenty of young children with a need for a space like this.
