Funding Usage
We will use this grant money to process and fill our freezers with all varieties of meat to ship all over the world. To buy a few. Ore calves to have many valves on hand available at different times of the year to keep our freezers stocked and ready to sell or ship all year long. As well as start fixing up an older building in our town to eventually be able to open a store front.

Business Plan
We raise cattle so every year we will keep our home raised steers back to grow our operation and have more to process. We are working on a website to allow consumers to purchase varieties of beer online and we will ship anywhere. We plan to open a store front also and also have two restaurants who are interested in purchasing our beef if we are able to have enough to supply them. We are a small town, young family in Iowa. My husband and I have grown up on the farm and we are now raising our three kids the same. Our kids are very involved in our farming and livestock operation and we want to continue this legacy. We have a deep passion for livestock and want to create a business that our kids and grand kids can carry on forever. The start up costs are hard, especially raising three kids so some help would help our business take off.

Self Identified Competition
I don’t really know a lot of people selling meat like this. We are focused on providing much better quality beef than you can get in stores. We have many families that have bought bulk beef from us for many years and want to share this with many more people. People are much more aware of where the food is coming from and willing to pay for quality. We want to offer amazing quality beef. We raise certified red angus beef. We have some extra costs and work to be sure everything is certified which is a higher quality of meat. Red angus beef has amazing marbling and a higher quality meat than most others.
