Great Cats World Park Great Cats World Park | Government Grant Application

Great Cats World Park | Application Preview

Great Cats World Park is seeking government funding to address challenges brought on by inflation. The funding would primarily be used for feeding exotic animals like felines, porcupines, and peacocks, as well as covering payroll and utility costs. Additionally, rising material costs have stalled the construction of a new otter exhibit, and some funds would help complete this project.

The park is dedicated to breeding exotic felines to prevent extinction and is looking to expand its collection to include more species. This will enhance its educational efforts about wildlife conservation and the importance of preventing extinction.

The park believes it deserves funding because it is currently understaffed and works long hours to provide high-quality care to the animals, ensuring they receive adequate enrichment and diet. The funding would support their mission of giving these animals a fulfilling life while also contributing to species conservation and public education.

Unlike other facilities, Great Cats World Park collaborates extensively with zoos and wildlife organizations across the nation. Its unique approach includes daily educational guided tours, emphasizing the importance of knowledge in wildlife conservation for future generations.

  • Funding Usage

As we are struggling right now due to inflation costs, we would use to funds to feed the animals (exotic felines, porcupines, and peacocks). We would also use this money for payroll and utility expenses. The cost of building materials has also increased. We have started building our otter exhibit but had to stop once the cost of everything increased so we would also put some of these funds towards finishing the otters new home.

  • Business Plan

We breed many of these exotic felines to keep them from becoming extinct in the world. We would love to continue to do this. We also would love to bring in some other species of animals to the facility as well. This way we can help more then just felines and be able to educate the public on the importance of wildlife and what we can do to ensure animals all over the world do not become endangered or possible extinct in our future. We should be awarded funding as we are very short staffed and work long hours to ensure the animals at our facility have the best life possible. We make sure they get a lot of enrichment and a larger variety of food, so that it is similar to the wild. We care for these animals like we care for our own children and we can use these funds to continue to give these animals an amazing life while also helping the species from becoming extinct and educating the public.

  • Self Identified Competition

We don't really have any competitors, as we work with many other zoos and facilities all over the country. Many zoos and wildlife facilities work together for the benefit of the animals. We are different from other facilities as we do educational guided tours daily. We want to make sure the guests that come to our park learned something while getting a good view of the animals that live here. By educating future generations, we may have a better chance of saving many animals all over the world.
