Loving Arms Care has a strong understanding of the human resource aspects of the business, and with the help of this 20K grant , will have strong sales and marketing performances and will be strongly capitalized. To position Loving Arms Care, Inc. effectively, Loving Arms Care will maintain a broad service offering that is different from the other competitors, establish strong and progressive sales and marketing efforts that are targeted specifically to the various markets, and allow only well capitalized owners into the network. Home care plays a very important role in the health care industry. It helps seniors live independently for as long as possible given the limits of their medical condition. It also saves the health care system billions of dollars each year by providing a more cost-effective means of treatment than in a hospital and often delays the need for long-term nursing care. Home health care’s future role becomes even more important as we enter an era of high growth in health care utilization. There are currently about 75 million people over the age of 55 or 25% of the U.S. population. That number is expected to grow to over 100 million within the next 20 years. Virginia has one of the largest concentrations of seniors in the U.S. Specifically, In Albemarle County VA, the population of persons over 65 years of age continues to increase. According to the most recent information from the US Census Bureau, Albemarle County has approximately 110,000 residents, 20%, or 22,000 persons, over the age of 65. (Source: 2018 US Census Bureau Report). There is a tremendous need for quality home care professionals to care for these individuals. Loving Arms Care, Inc. provides companionship and personal/domestic care services primarily on a non-medical basis for seniors enabling them to stay at home.

Private caregivers, and other home care Agencies You may ask what sets Loving Arms Care apart from all the rest. My story is very personal. It began when I observed my grandparents, and how much caregiving was needed day in and day out. While I observed, my family was involved as caregivers for them 24/7. I saw there was much more help needed within the home situation. Once I started assisting with the help they needed, I realized how important this caregiving position was to sustain their way of life, and help them live as normal as possible, while enjoying their independence. After those years of experience, I decided to make it my future profession. I have worked hard to establish much-needed training as a caregiver. However, English was not my native language and I was not as fluent as I needed to be to communicate and share. Soon after moving to Charlottesville, I got involved working as a senior caregiver, as well as a private caregiver, and continued for over 7 years. As the COVID-19 scenario arose, my whole family and I, as well as a few other acquaintances, got together to make homemade face masks to distribute to needed neighborhood families. This extended to nearby areas of healthcare including inpatient facilities. In the year 2019, Loving Arms Care was born. Now, we are strongly moving forward with all the support from my friends and family, our staff, and the families of our present and past clients and the whole community. We take it personally. I myself always available to cover for my staff whenever there's an emergency. Also, we ran background check and do drug test on each staff.
