Herbal Energetics 94 silver lane | Government Grant Application

Herbal Energetics | Application Preview

Herbal Energetics is seeking government grants to support various aspects of its business, including marketing, product development, system upgrades, and inventory purchases. The business currently operates as a wholesaler supplying stores in New Hampshire and has an online presence. The owner has a vision to expand by opening a wellness center with a retail storefront and hiring employees.

The motivation for seeking funding stems from the desire to honor the legacy of the original creator of the products, who passed away two years ago. The owner believes that expanding the business would not only help fulfill this promise but also allow for greater community impact by assisting more people.

While there are other herbal shops in the area, such as one in Meredith and the Concord Co-OP, the owner emphasizes a collaborative rather than competitive spirit, as these shops also sell their products. The unique selling point of the proposed wellness center is its focus on children, with plans to introduce a kids' corner where they can engage in activities like making tea, practicing yoga, and learning about healthy living. This approach aims to create an educational and supportive environment for families.

  • Business Plan

I would like to open a wellness center. Right now I sell to many stores in NH as wholsesale and have an online stores as well. I would like to have employees and open store front. The business that I have, has been around since the 90’s. I think it’s time to expand it and help more people. I did not crest the product. The woman that created passed two years ago and she asked me to carry on her legacy. I think this is a great way to do it and I would be so grateful to have a grant to make my wishes come true and to be able to help more people.

  • Self Identified Competition

I don’t think the herbal business is really “competitive” I feel like we all try to help people but there is a shop in Meredith that sells herbs. There’s Concord Co-OP Granite state. Again these are not competitors..they sell my product. I want to sell my product and offer other services that involve kids and teaching them healthy lifestyle My goal is to gear my store towards kids. Have a kids corner. They learn to make their own tea, they can come and do yoga, learn to create different products.
